About Us

Chrissy Hayden, MS, CNS, BCTMB

Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Nutritionist

Chrissy founded The Art of Health, LLC in 2008 to bring high quality bodywork to clients in a safe, therapeutic atmosphere. In her role as a massage therapist, she uses a combination of massage modalities to support rehabilitation from chronic and acute muscle pain caused by stress, overuse, and injury.

Chrissy expanded the scope of the practice to include clinical nutrition in 2015. She takes a holistic approach to restoring balance in her clients through evidence-informed nutritional interventions.

Chrissy holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University. She completed her massage & bodywork training at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia.

Chrissy is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and certified by the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists.



Keith Hayden, MS

Nutrition Counselor & Educator

Keith Hayden is a Nutrition Counselor & Educator passionate about using food and cooking to help individuals and groups achieve their health goals. Having dealt with years of an undiagnosed food allergy, and a physical injury as a college athlete, Keith found a way to incorporate nutrition to heal his body, lose weight and reduce pain. Realizing that what we put into our bodies is the key to health, Keith pursued further education in the field, hoping to educate and bring awareness to others. Keith holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Boston University.

Believing that change can happen in many different settings, Keith specializes in one-on-one counseling, as well as community education and workplace wellness. Most recently, he organized and implemented a nutrition education series at the Department of Justice.

Whether you seek to lose weight, change your course of health, improve physical performance or simply eat better overall, Keith is here to facilitate and educate you through the process. By providing accurate and concise information, dispelling common nutrition myths and helping you better understand your own body, Keith will be a passionate supporter of your goals.

Barbara Mugge, BCTMB

Licensed Massage Therapist

Barbara specializes in tension reduction and relaxation incorporating Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Sports Massage to address each client’s specific goals. She also practices Positional Therapy, an effective approach that treats neuromuscular pain patterns using strain-counterstrain and muscle energy techniques, as well as stretching. Clients, particularly athletes and low back pain sufferers, rave about her hip balancing series, which can easily be incorporated into the massage session.

Barbara received her massage & bodywork training at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University at Buffalo. In her seven years of experience, she has worked in conjunction with acupuncturists and chiropractors to lead clients toward a healthier, pain-free lifestyle.

Megan Cordone, BCTMB

Licensed Massage Therapist

Megan combines various therapeutic modalities, including Deep Tissue, Sports, and Swedish massage to assist her clients in achieving and maintaining an optimal state of wellbeing. Drawing from her diverse knowledge and experience as a bodyworker, yoga instructor, fitness professional and wellness coach, she listens to the unique needs of each client to develop a care plan for both on and off the table. Her calm, yet reassuring nature are an embodiment of her strong passion for integrative health.

Megan completed a Bachelor of Science in Wellness Management from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oswego. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Morrisville State College.

Megan is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
